- Rated 3 out of 5by StefanMacz, 2 months agoit's ok for some things but can be pretty flaky.
Often it requires the companion application... which is not such a big deal, but even then it can still be distinctly unreliable.
I have a Video Downloader app on my android phone which does a far better job, is much more dependable, saves in sensible formats, offers a better choice of download resolution options, in a much easier to follow way.
The android app also does simultaneous multi-downloads of the same files so you can download a big file in five minutes on the phone what take this addon twenty minutes to do.
By comparision if that android app got a 10/10 rating - which by my book, it does, this barely gets a 3/10.
I regularly have to just give up in disgust at this add-on's inability to save files and switch over to my phone.
Also I've downloaded files using this addon to discover they are in a ridiculous webm format - absolutely not useful to me at all, whereas the android app saves using the much more standard MP4 container.
The app developer really needs to take a long hard look at the alternatives and up their game if they wish for this addon to stay relevant. - Rated 3 out of 5by KK-DAYO, 2 months agoI can't download TikTokLIVE.
It was possible to download up to 8.1.4.0.
Please make it possible to download the latest version. - Rated 3 out of 5by regj2fly, 2 months agohelpful!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Will, 3 months agoIt used to be a lot better. As in the previous build just a week or two ago. Sites I've used it on forever, it no longer activates for or even lights up. Something as simple as downloading from DepositFiles, the final step after captcha, it would light up, let me copy the url so I could put it in a download manager. Now it just sits there dead, not reading it right. And certain other tube sites and whatnot, no longer works.

Since the latest update, neither the normal download function, nor the companion application works on certain websites; I therefore had to downgrade back to version 8.0.0.6 (don't forget to deactivate this addon's automatic updates), which is now working properly again. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13495597, 3 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Marko, 3 months agoHi. The "Copy address" simply don't works. It doesn't add anything, not even with thirdy-part software (like CopyQ). I swap back to version 8.1.4.0 and all copy address works, as usual. Regards.

- Rated 3 out of 5by skinny01, 3 months agoAll was working fine until a few days ago. Now the names of the vids being downloaded will show up when I click the icon, but by the time it gets to the save as pop-up box, the name is not there anymore the way it used to be.
I have to manually type in the name of the video each time (or copy paste) which is a real pain.
I have no idea why it's doing that now or if there's a setting to put it back to how it used to be with the name of the video already populated when I go to save it.
Besides that recent change, it works great. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16020326, 3 months ago
